i there, my name is Gergely Tóth, and sport has shaped my life from the very beginning. As a professional fencer, I became U17 European Champion in Épée and earned third place at the U17 World Championships, representing Hungary as part of the national team.

During those years, I dreamed of continuing my athletic and academic journey in the United States. I was even in contact with universities, but due to some unfortunate events, lack of guidance and information, I wasn’t able to secure the scholarship I needed. It was a turning point: I realized how many talented athletes face the same challenge, not because of ability, but because of missing guidance.

After focusing on my studies in Economics at the University of Bonn, I pursued a Master’s degree in Sports Management in Barcelona, one of the most international and sports-driven cities in the world. Alongside my studies, I built a career in recruitment, helping companies across Europe find the perfect match for their roles.

But my passion for sport — and for helping young athletes — never left me. That’s why we started Tóth Recruit: to combine my athletic background, academic expertise in Sports Management, and professional recruitment experience to help young athletes achieve what I once dreamed of — securing a sports scholarship in the USA, where they can grow both on the field and in the classroom.
